Yamaha MORPHOUS 250 Maintenance Schedule (Service Interval)

This manual maintenance is for Yamaha Maxam or MORPHOUS CP250 year of productions 2006-2008. The service information included in this manual and the tools provided in the owner’s tool kit are intended to assist you in the performance of preventive maintenance and minor repairs. However, additional tools such as a torque wrench may be necessary to perform certain maintenance work correctly.

If you do not have the tools or experience required for a particular job, have a Yamaha dealer perform it for you.

Yamaha may cause loss of performance, excessive emissions, and render the vehicle unsafe for use. Consult a Yamaha dealer before attempting any changes.

Air Filter and V-Belt Filter

NOTE:

The air filter and V-belt filter need more frequent service if you are riding in unusually wet or dusty areas.

Hydraulic Brake Service

• After disassembling the brake master cylinders and calipers:
  • Always change the fluid.
• Regular Maintenance:
  • Check the brake fluid levels regularly.
  • Fill the reservoirs as required.
• Every Two Years:
  • Replace the internal components of the brake master cylinders and calipers.
  • Change the brake fluid.
• Brake Hoses:
  • Replace every four years.
  • Replace if cracked or damaged.
